Simple and Delicious Chili
This recipe is the best middle ground I've found between the quick and easy chili recipes, and the complicated but more tasty recipes.

Instructions
Prep
Combine all spices together
Partially cook the bacon (425℉ for about 10 minutes) and then cut into small squares
While the bacon is cooking, dice your onion and set aside
Cooking
Add olive oil to the pot and set the heat to medium
Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes, stirring every few minutes
Add the ground beef and break into small chunks with a spoon while cooking until the beef is browned
Dump the spices and the bacon into the pot, mixing thoroughly
Add all of the canned and cartoned goods (beans, tomatoes and green chiles, tomato sauce, broth), mixing well
Reduce heat to low (or medium low) and allow it to simmer uncovered until it reaches the desired thickness (roughly an hour)
